Cricket Betting at bdt bat — bet across all formats from T20 to Test
BPL, IPL, T20 World Cup, Test series — for every cricket format, bdt bat offers a range of markets, straightforward odds and live in-play betting. Football and other sports are all in one place.
T20, ODI and Test — how betting differs across the three formats
Cricket has three formats and the way you bet on each is different. In T20, matches finish quickly so odds shift frequently. In ODI, the innings is longer so there is more scope to forecast runs. A Test match lasts up to five days and a draw is a valid result — which makes the odds structure quite different.
Each team plays just 20 overs. BPL and IPL are played in this format. Because matches end in a short time, live betting is especially popular.
The 50-over match has two innings. The ICC World Cup is played in this format. Total runs and partnership markets are more common here.
This format lasts up to five days and a draw is possible. Batsman century and wicket count markets are particularly interesting here.
BPL, IPL and international series
The Bangladesh Premier League (BPL) is especially appealing to fans in Bangladesh because local and overseas stars play together. The Indian Premier League (IPL) is the most-watched T20 league in the world. The T20 World Cup and ICC tournaments are major events throughout the year.
When the Tigers (Bangladesh national team) take the field, you can bet on every market for that match on bdt bat. From bilateral international series to multi-nation tournaments — everything is covered.
What is betting like on football and other sports?
In football, the match winner market has three possible outcomes — home win, away win and draw. In cricket T20 or ODI, a draw does not normally occur, so odds are split across just two outcomes. This means cricket odds are structured somewhat differently.
In football, goalscorer, corner count and handicap markets are common. In cricket, wickets, over-by-over scores and individual performance markets are important. Tennis, kabaddi and other sports each have their own betting structure.
For those who want to enjoy betting beyond cricket, virtual sports betting is a different experience — you can bet on simulated matches all day without depending on the real match schedule.
Popular betting markets in cricket
Several markets are available for cricket betting on bdt bat. Get a brief overview of each market so you can decide which one to bet on.
Match Winner
Predict which of the two teams will win. With only two possible outcomes in T20 and ODI, this is the simplest market. Example: if Team A wins, your bet wins.
SimpleToss Winner
Bet on which team will win the toss before the match starts. The toss result is completely separate from everything else in the match, so it is an independent market.
Short-termTop Batsman
Bet on who will score the most runs in an innings for a specific team. With multiple options, odds vary.
PerformanceTotal Runs Over/Under
Whether the total runs in an innings or the whole match will be more (over) or less (under) than a set line. Example: with a line of 160, if the team scores 161 or more the over bet wins.
Runs-basedTop Bowler
Bet on which bowler will take the most wickets in an innings or match. The pitch, weather and the opposition's batting line-up are worth considering.
Wicket-basedMulti Bet
Place multiple selections together in a single bet. If all selections are correct, you receive a return at the combined odds — but if even one is wrong, the entire bet is lost.
CombinedDecimal, fractional and American odds in plain language
bdt bat displays odds in three formats. Each one expresses the same information differently. Use the examples below to understand them.
Example 1 — the same odds in three formats
Team A to win, stake ৳500:
| Format | Odds | What it means |
|---|---|---|
| Decimal | 2.50 | Total return = stake × odds |
| Fractional | 3/2 | ৳3 profit for every ৳2 staked |
| American | +150 | ৳150 profit on ৳100 staked |
Win: ৳500 × 2.50 = ৳1,250 (৳750 profit + ৳500 stake returned). Lose: the full ৳500 is gone.
Example 2 — favourite's odds
Team B to win (favourite), stake ৳500:
American minus odds show how much you need to stake to win ৳100. Win: ৳500 × 1.25 = ৳625 (৳125 profit).
In-play betting — odds change when a wicket falls
Live betting means placing bets while the match is in progress. In cricket, odds update automatically after every wicket, every big over and the end of each powerplay.
Say Team A loses two wickets in the very first over — at that moment Team B's chances of winning increase, so Team B's odds shorten. Conversely, if Team A scores 20+ runs in an over, their chances of winning increase.
In live betting you have less time to decide. The appeal of this market is reading the match situation and betting at the right moment. Live in-play betting on bdt bat is available across all three formats — T20, ODI and Test.

How does placing multiple selections together work?
In a multi bet you put three or more separate selections on one slip. The odds of each selection are multiplied together to produce combined odds. Example: if three selections have odds of 1.40, 1.60 and 1.90, the combined odds are 1.40 × 1.60 × 1.90 = 4.26 (approximately).
That means a ৳100 stake returns ৳426 if all selections are correct. But if even one is wrong you lose the entire ৳100 — that is the risk of a multi bet.
Multi bets are entertaining, but cricket betting should always be viewed as entertainment. Read the terms and conditions carefully before placing a bet.
Multi bet example
৳100 stake → ৳426 return if all win. Lose one and the entire stake is gone.
Some useful habits for cricket betting
- Before you start betting, read a little about the recent form of both teams, the pitch type and the weather — it helps you understand the match better.
- Set a fixed budget and do not go beyond it. Betting is a form of entertainment, not a source of income.
- Before deciding on a market, make sure you understand the odds — choose decimal or fractional, whichever is easier for you.
- Live betting requires quick decisions. Decide in advance in which situations you will place a bet and in which you will not.
- Adding more selections to a multi bet does increase the potential return, but one loss ends everything — smaller multi bets are more manageable when you are starting out.
- The toss market result is entirely separate — it does not depend on match performance, so think of it independently from other markets.
- Do not try to recover losses by placing a large bet — that is the most common mistake. Make decisions with a clear head.
- If you want to enjoy different types of games, you can also try slots — a good entertainment option outside the cricket season.
Back and Lay — how a betting exchange works
In regular betting you bet against the bookmaker. In a betting exchange you bet directly against other bettors.
BACK means betting in favour of an outcome — like regular betting. LAY means betting against an outcome, where you take on the role of the bookmaker.
Example (Decimal 2.00):
You BACK Team A with ৳1,000 — if Team A wins you gain ৳1,000; if not, you lose ৳1,000.
You LAY Team A (backer's ৳1,000) — if Team A does not win you gain ৳1,000; if they win you pay ৳1,000.
